Guided Tours

Our tours explore not only the church and the crypt, but go behind-the-scenes into the vaults and the Royal Box where the Hanoverian kings worshipped. Take a journey through the centuries to uncover not only the history of the “church in the fields” but also the stories behind the stones.

Audio guides are also available to hire from the shop for 3.50.

St Martin-in-the-Fields is an active church with over twenty services a week. Monday to Friday services are at 8am, 1.15pm and 6pm. On Saturday there is morning prayer at 9am. Sunday starts at 8am with morning prayer, followed by Eucharist at 10am. The service in Mandarin starts at 1pm and in Cantonese at 2.15pm. The day finishes with an evening service at 6.30pm.     The award winning Cafe in the Crypt is located beneath the church in our historic 18th century Crypt. All dishes are prepared on site and use locally sourced food where possible. There is a gift shop and brass rubbing centre in the foyer. We also have a busy concerts schedule with lunchtime and evening concerts. Please see our website for all the details.
