Travel information

Wrexham General Railway Station is on the main border railway line between Chester and Cardiff via Shrewsbury and Hereford, and Wrexham Central on the Wrexham-Bidston line from Liverpool.

Arriva Bus run a service to Chester every 10 minutes (no. 1), and Wrexham is served by National Express and TrawsCymru long distance coaches.

Wrexham is on the A483 dual carriageway linking the Midlands to North Wales - 10 minutes by road from Chester and the A55. Follow signs for Town Centre.

Parking

There is limited parking especially for the disabled in the churchyard, but St Giles’ Way Car Park, LL13 7AB (pay and display) is adjacent to the church via a flight of steps or a gentle slope. There are nurmous other town centre pay and display car parks.

Visitor Hours

We are usually open 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 2pm on Sundays.

As this may be subject to the availability of volunteer welcomers, if you are coming from a distance, it is as well to check with the Parish Office on 01978 355808.

Admission

There is no admission charge, although donations are always welcome.

Most visits are self-guided, but welcomers are happy to explain features of the building to visitors.

Amenities

    There are toilets and disabled facilities for visitors, and a small selection of postcards, etc., is available.

Facilities for disabled

    Disabled parking for visitors is available in the churchyard, and there is step free access into the church, with a ramp available for access to the chancel. For services, wheelchair enabled pew are available, and there is a disabled toilet.
