Travel information	BY TRAIN - The station is called BATH SPA. There are frequent high-speed connections to London Paddington. For a slower service that is likely to be cheaper, try London Waterloo. Major cities such as Birmingham and Manchester have frequent services via Bristol. The south coast ports of Southampton and Portsmouth have direct services by train. BY COACH - There are coach dropping-off points on North Parade Road and Orange Grove. The Coach Park is in Riverside Coach & Lorry Park, off Green Park Road, 3 minutes walk from the centre. ON FOOT - Bath is well suited to pedestrians and most hotels and guest houses are within easy reach of the city centre. BY CAR - From the M4 leave the M4 at Junction 18 and take the A46 towards Bath. From Bristol - Take the A4 into Bath. From Salisbury - Take the A36 into Bath. From the South West -The straightforward route would be via the M5 and M4 approaching Bath from the north and using the Lansdown Park and Ride.
Parking	The following car parks are available Ham Gardens, Avon Street, Manvers Street, Charlotte Street, Sports Centre, Broad Street, Southgate Shopping Centre and Cattle Market. A Park and Ride service operated by First Group is available from Lansdown, Odd Down and Newbridge. Please contact First Group for details of fares and times on 0845 606 4446. For disabled badge holders the nearest parking is in York Street.
Visitor Hours	01 April - 31 October Monday - Saturday 09 -00 - 18 -00 Sunday 13 -00 - 14 -30 and 16 -30 - 17 -30 01 November - 31 March Monday - Saturday 09 -00 - 16 -30 Sunday 13 -00 - 14 -30 and 16 -30 - 17 -30 Closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day except for services. Please see the Abbey website or call the office for seasonal variations.
Admission	A suggested donation of £2.50 per adult and £1.00 per student.
Arranged visits	Guided Tours Guided tours need to be pre-booked in advance and are provided by volunteer guides in English these can be tailored to suit your requirements and last approximately for one hour. The price of a tour is £3.00 per person. Stewards are available in the Abbey Monday - Saturday during the main opening hours and welcome questions about the Abbey and the Christian faith. Chaplains are present most afternoons during the summer, leading prayers on the hour and Evening Prayer at 15 -15. Visitor leaflets are available in many languages. A Youth and Children’s Quiz is available with a free pencil.
