Travel information	By public transport: For a fully searchable comprehensive database of all Public Transport Journeys into and out of Manchester visit the Online GMPTE Journey Planner. By Car Travelling from the North and East M62 - leave by junction 17 (A56) This is a main road passing the Cathedral and is signposted for Manchester City Centre etc. Travel along this road for approximately 5 miles. You will reach a set of traffic lights at the junction with the ring road (A6042, Trinity Way/New Bridge Street). The MEN Arena is on your left. Go straight ahead and under the Bridge - the Cathedral is on the left. Travelling from the South and West M6 - M62 - M602 Take the left turn into Deansgate and continue to the end - the Cathedral is on the right. Parking: Ample parking is available at the NCP at Old Exchange Station approach and in the MEN Arena which are both in the immediate vicinity of Manchester Cathedral. Manchester Cathedral is situated in Manchester City Centre, in the Medieval Quarter opposite to Harvey Nichols and Selfridges department stores and close to Manchester Victoria Station. A free bus shuttle service from Manchester Piccadilly station drops passengers a short walk from the Cathedral. Our telephone number is 0161 833 2220 - ring for help if you get lost.

Admission	Entry to the Cathedral is FREE OF CHARGE
Arranged visits	Guided Tours If you would like to arrange your visit in advance, guided tours and group visits can be arranged by telephoning the office on 0161 833 2220. The Education Officer leads tours, trails and activities for learners of all ages. Further details of what’s on offer can be found on the website. Visitors are welcome to take photographs for their own personal use.
