The Cathedral is situated in the centre of Salisbury City. BY CAR: There is easy access from the A303, A36 or A338. Tere are park and ride locations on the approaches to the city - the nearest city car parks are the Old George Mall and Crane Street car parks. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: The nearest train, coach and bus facilities are at the relevant Salisbury stations which are all in walking distance of the Cathedral. There are frequent train services from London, Bath and the West Country plus regular links via National Express coaches to Salisbury. |

Parking |
Coach drop off / pick up point on St Ann Street adjacent to the Cathedral. Disabled parking is available in the Cathedral Close for blue badge holders (8 spaces in total). Recommended parking for all other cars - Salisbury Park and Ride sites or the Old George Mall (on New Street) or Crane Street car parks. |

Guided ToursVolunteer guides are on duty throughout the year to provide free guided tours of the Cathedral floor and Chapter House (including Magna Carta) during the following times: GroupsWhether your group wants to simply visit the Cathedral, take one of our special interest tours or book one of our complete ‘day out packages’ there are flexible options to suit every group’s needs. School VisitsThe Cathedral Education Centre offers a wide range of tours for schools and other educational groups. All workshops and activities are designed to meet National Curriculm criteria in subjects including History, Geography, RE, Maths, Science, Art and Music. |

Talking Telescope in Cathedral Close Toliets, outside picnic area. Photography for personal use is permitted in the Cathedral (not the Chapter House). Please contact Visitor Services on 01722 555120 for all commercial photography and filming enquiries. |

Facilities for disabled |
Toilets are available for wheelchair users. We have a “touch and feel” model of the Cathedral with linked commentary as well as large print leaflets and service books for those with sight difficulties. Assistance dogs are welcome.
