Parking

Coach drop off / pick up point on St Ann Street.
Disabled parking available in the Cathedral Close for blue badge holders (8 spaces).
Recommended parking for all other cars - Salisbury Park and Ride sites.
Nearest parking - Old George Mall on New Street, or Crane Street car parking.

Open daily year round 7.15am - 6.15 pm (7.15pm Jun-Aug).

Arranged visits

Guided Tours

Our volunteer guides are on duty most days of the year to provide free guided tours at regular intervals of the Cathedral floor and Chapter House (including Magna Carta). Alternatively you may prefer to explore at your own pace with our free self-guiding leaflet that is available in 15 languages.

Tower tour operate daily Jan - Nov at 2.15pm. Additional tours Mar - October at 11.15am, April - September at 3.15pm and June-August at 5.00pm. Pre-booking is recommended as spaces are limited. Call 01722 555156.

Groups

Whether you group want to simply visit the Cathedral, have one of our special interest tours or book one of our complete day out packages there are flexible options to suit every group’s need. School Visits

The Cathedral Education Centre offers a wide range of tours for schools and other educational groups. All workshops and activities are designed to meet National Curriculm criteria in subjects including History, Geography, RE, Maths, Science, Art and Music.

The centre caters for all ages from nursery children to sixth form students and can also offer programmes for adult groups. There is an emphasis on interactive learning with many of the sessions using hands-on activities as well as drama /role play to bring the Cathedral to life. Visits may be tailored to a group’s particular requirements
