M53 from M56, Manchester M6 A41/A51 from Midlands, Shropshire A483/A55 from North Wales Trains run every hour from London Euston - Travel time 2 hours. Trains run half hourly from Crewe - Travel time 20 minutes. Trains run half hourly from Liverpool stations - Travel time 45 minutes. Chester Station is a 20 minute walk from the Cathedral and a free bus service runs every 10 minutes to the City centre. Chester is served by 6 Park and Ride bus services which drop off in the City centre. |

Parking |
The nearest public car parks are at Gorse Stacks and Princess Street. Currently these are free after 3pm. Disabled parking is available in St Werburgh Street. There is a coach dropping off point at Hunter Street, just off Northgate Street. |
