Travel information	M53 from M56, Manchester M6 A41/A51 from Midlands, Shropshire A483/A55 from North Wales Trains run every hour from London Euston - Travel time 2 hours. Trains run half hourly from Crewe - Travel time 20 minutes. Trains run half hourly from Liverpool stations - Travel time 45 minutes. Chester Station is a 20 minute walk from the Cathedral and a free bus service runs every 10 minutes to the City centre. Chester is served by 6 Park and Ride bus services which drop off in the City centre.
Parking	The nearest public car parks are at Gorse Stacks and Princess Street. Currently these are free after 3pm. Disabled parking is available in St Werburgh Street. There is a coach dropping off point at Hunter Street, just off Northgate Street.
Visitor Hours	Monday - Saturday 09.00 - 17.00 Sunday 13.00 - 16.00 Opening hours are subject to change owing to special services or events. Please call ahead or consult the website if planning a special visit.

Arranged visits	Guided Tours Free guided tours 2.30pm Mon-Sat, summer only. Specialist tours are available, and can be tailored for individual groups. Catering can be arranged for groups. Please contact 01244 500958. Groups Group guided tours by arrangement - £6 inclusive of admission. The minimum tour number is 10, and there is no upper limit. School Visits School parties and other groups of young people by arrangement.
