School Visits

The Education Department welcomes thousands of learners every year from schools and other groups, and provides trails and activity days for families and children. Southwell Minster is the home of the Time Travelling Pilgrimage ( This includes ‘tailor-made’ days where teachers choose modules, or we will put together a day to suit them, ‘festival days’ (exploring Christmas and Easter), and many more.

The Education Department is fortunate to have a talented team of volunteers to help run Education days, so teachers are able to sit back, relax and enjoy their day with their pupils.

To book or discuss and educational visit please contact the Education Officer, Tel: 01636 817993,
