Travel information

 M1 or A1/A638 from south;
A1/M1 link from north east;
M621 from Leeds; M62/M1 from north west;
Wakefield is a regular halt for National Express trains from London to Leeds and Cross Country trains from the West Country and Midlands to Leeds, York and Scotland.
The cathedral is situated in the heart of the city, opposite the Ridings Shopping Centre.

Parking

 The Ridings Centre car park is close by.
Coaches can drop off in Westmorland Street.

 Monday-Friday: 8.00am to 5.00pm
Saturdays: 8.00am to 4.00pm
Sundays: Open for Services

Guided Tours & School Visits are very welcome by prior arrangement. Information leaflets available in English, French & German.

School Visits

There is no age limit to visits and all ages and abilities can be catered for. The teacher in charge is encouraged to liaise with us to create a trail around the Cathedral.
