Travel information

 Christ Church Cathedral is situated just beside the civic offices, on the western edge of Temple Bar in the heart of Dublin’s medieval core. Travel due west of Trinity College along College Green, Dame Street and Lord Edward Street, parallel to the River Liffey. Buses - 77, 50, 121 and 123.

Parking

 There is no parking in the grounds of the cathedral, but there is a public car park on Werburgh Street, just across from the cathedral.

 Winter visiting hours (Sept - May):
Monday - Saturday: 09.45 - 16.15
Sunday: 12.30 - 14.30

Summer opening hours (June - Aug):
Monday - Saturday: 09.45 - 18.15
Sunday: 12.30 - 14.30; 16.30 - 18.15

Admission

 Entry Fees: Adults €6.00; Senior citizens €4; students €3, Family ticket €26. Group entry fees: Adults €5.00; Concessions €2.50. Admission includes entry to the crypt and treasury. Parent accompanied children free. Combined tickets available for the Cathedral and Dublinia - the viking and medieval Dublin museum.

    Virtually the entire cathedral is accessible by wheelchair. If you have special needs please inform the Visitor Services desk prior to your visit.

    Guide dogs for the blind and ‘hearing’ dogs are admitted (but no other dogs).
