Travel information	Ripon is on the B6265, just a short distance from the A1(M) and almost equidistant between the West and East coasts of England. Transport links are good and the City is easily accessible from Leeds, York, Northallerton and Harrogate.
Parking	Parking in the immediate vicinity of the Catehdral is difficult, though disabled visitors can drop off on the concourse at the West end. There is good parking in the nearby Sainsbury’s car park which can be accessed from Moss Arcade or St. Marygate. There is a bus/coach park at the bus station next to the car park. There is a limited amount of free parking in Ripon Market Square.
Visitor Hours	The Cathedral opens every day half an hour before the first service, and closes after evensong (usually around 6.15pm.)
Admission	There is no charge for entry.
Arranged visits	Guided Tours There are Cathedral Guides available most of the day who will be please to give guided tours and information. If you wish to make arrangements in advance please contact the Cathedral Guides through the Cathedral Office. Groups Please contact the Cathedral Office if you wish to make advance arrangements for Group Visits to the Cathedral. School Visits We warmly invite schools to use the Cathedral as an educational resource for National Curriculum subjects and Religious Education. ‘Hands on’ experiences are available for both pupils and teachers. Please note that a donation of £3.00 per person is requested for a conducted visit, payable in advance or upon arrival. School Visits Packs are also available, price £2.00 including postage. Amenities	Situated near the West door of the Cathedral, our shop sells a range of delightful items to remind you of your visit. Seasonal items such as Christmas cards, recordings of the music of the Cathedral Choirs, and informative items including guide books and our new virtual tour CD, as well as inspirational books, specialist foods, cosmetics and jewellery, make the shop a veritable treasure trove! And if you’re a member of Ripon Cathedral Friends, you’re entitled to 10% discount on anything you buy in the shop. Facilities for disabled	Most of the Cathedral is accessible to wheelchairs, except for the Library and Crypt. Wheelchair access is via the main entrance at the West End.
